another airport post

By Tamika Whitenack HELLO! it has been so long, as in over a month! Wow. I apologize for the hiatus, remember those technological issues I mentioned? Well, that all culminated in a stressful computer mess in which my laptop became a piece of random metal and I learned how to survive on a college campus without a personal computer (a very humbling and growth-filled experience). During this period, I was not in the mind to be doing anything on the computer apart from school related stuff, and once I received my new computer (so grateful to have the privilege to be able to get a new computer! and treating it like a baby), it was the busy busy season of finals and stuff and then well somehow we got to this december 16 and here I am in terminal 5 of the JFK airport. Its funny because this is so parallel to last year, when I was also flying home on Dec 16, and writing my last blog post of the semester in the airport. I want to go read that one actually, but even wit...

Character Building (I hope)

By Cameron Rusin Hi friends! It has actually been so long since I last posted something, but I’m currently killing time in my dining hall waiting for an appropriate time to leave for my flight, so why not. I am also not sure if anyone will read this because the blog has been kinda inactive but if anything maybe this will help me figure out what the heck I was doing this semester. And then ...

By Tamika Whitenack In the past 3 weeks, I've had 3 computer crises! Friday Oct 28: my computer was being slow and making noise. Brought it into CIS. We cleared up storage and it worked fine. Monday Nov 5: spilt tea on my keyboard! aiyah! let it dry. brought it into CIS. they opened it up and it dried more. i spent a couple days of excruciating waiting and self-beratement for my carelessness. received the lucky news that all was well and i could use it as normal. Tuesday Nov 13: apparently my Vassar gmail account has been disabled! idk why, hoping i have not been hacked. yikes! but this is less debilitating than the other issues, at least i can use my computer for all other services. (but also, i receive soooo many emails a day, it is a key part of vassar life lol) anyway, that's where i'm at... but in other news, I went all of last week without eating at the dining hall except for 2 meals: monday dinner and saturday lunch. how did this happen, you ask? well, i...
