A Quick Update, but Mostly Pictures

I haven't been up to too much, but xc is in full swing, I visited my aunt in Maine for a night, and I got the flu! School has definitely gotten rough, but I got through the first of many midterm hysterias of the semester so I'm hoping to feel a little more on top of my studies this upcoming three day weekend. Anyways, here are some pictures This has definitely evolved since this pic was taken, but some form of egg + beans + tortilla + add ins has become a staple in my kitchen A dog! peace of mind or something

By Tamika Whitenack I think my life is like a waterfall, perhaps. I'm trying to think of something that is in constant motion but also idyllic and beautiful. I'm feeling very content in this moment. I feel like I just talk about how happy I am a lot of the time, but I genuinely feel great right now, and moreso than I have the past two weekends. I shall attempt to explain various factors contributing to my peace of mind and blissful existence. After a couple of super busy weekends, I finally had a weekend to myself! This was the first weekend where I really had extended periods of time to just sit and do work, and I really like doing work in big sessions like this. It enhances my productivity and allows me to get in a good flow and feel comfortable that I have my life under control. I had two papers and a lab report to write this weekend, and I felt really good while I was writing them, it was definitely a productivity flow as opposed to a forced "let's get words ...

Half a Year's Content

Hello! It’s been quite a while. I’ll say that I’ve tried blogging over the summer and before that as well, but it never seems to get done. I think that it’s because I’m so nitpicky about what I want to say and don’t want to say that it takes multiple days to get done, and by then it feels like the mindset I had at the beginning of the post is no longer relevant. Hopefully that makes sense… Basically, from now on, I’ll be experimenting with just writing everything in one sitting, or trying to finish by the end of the day or something. Also this is a really long, rather plain post, so...yeah. Just a heads up. I guess I’ll mostly give up on going through spring quarter in detail, partly because it’s already a little hazy in my mind. Basically, I kind of floated through classes for about nine weeks and then barely pulled myself together in time to cram for finals and do final projects and such. I guess I got a bit burned out, so maybe this year I’ll try to pay more attention to rec...
